This course examines the impacts of technological, biological and natural emergencies and disasters on public health. It also stresses the importance of public health management strategies throughout the disaster management cycle. Topics may include bioterrorism, AIDS, pandemics and the psychosocial impacts of disasters. Prerequisite: HS201 or 0.5 senior CT credits
